EU decides soon on extension on Anti-dumping duties on footwear The president of the Italian Footwear Manufacturers’ Association (ANCI), Vito Artioli, has said that stakeholders in the leather footwear sector in the European Union have submitted “a detailed file” of evidence to the European Commission (EC) in Brussels.
Iceland applied to join the EU on 16 July 2009. The application was accepted by the European Council and a commission will analyse Iceland's preparedness for negotiations.
